Just what I asked for
I had received another bid, and the designer “over-did” it and didn’t listen to what I had asked for. Robert came, listened and had some good ideas. It came out just as I had envisioned. he is open to suggestions and new ideas- had good advice and the work was done well.

We were thoroughly pleased with the work performed at our home by Artistic Landscapes. From design through execution, Robert and his crew were knowledgeable, hard working and easy to deal with. We had very specific thoughts about how we wanted our front yard to look, and Artistic was able to translate our ideas into reality, achieving the beauty and functionality that we had in mind. A couple of our neighbors saw the completed work and have inquired with us about using Artistic for their landscaping needs. We intend to use Artistic Landscapes in the future, and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of landscaping services.

Artistic Landscapes did a great job with my yard!
I had Robert did a fantastic job planting a large palm tree for me last year, so when I decided to tackle a much larger landscaping project (the rest of the yard!)- he was the first one I called. Robert worked with my budget and ideas to figure out a cost-effective solution that made my yard look great! I bought the house 18 mos. ago and I doubt any maintenance had been done in over 50 years. The yard was uneven and full of dead bushes, weeds and debris. Robert and his crew leveled the lot fixing some drainage issues, planted all new sod, ripped out old pine trees, brought in new soil and created planting areas, built me raised garden beds, and put down the gravel/sand base for a patio paver project I plan to tackle myself. They completed the project in the timeframe that was estimated and within the budget we agreed to. I’d recommend Robert and his team for any landscaping project you might have. If he can make my yard look beautiful, I’m sure he can work wonders with yours too!

An Amazing job at an unbeatable price!!!!
The name “artistic landscape” says it all! We called Robert to come and give us an estimate on getting our yard ready before we put our house on the market. We had some ideas of our own, but were seeking additional ideas. Robert was able to look at the yard, and give us his ideas about what we needed, as well as an estimate on the spot (the best one we received!). We got estimates from a number of companies,none of which could beat the ideas that Robert had or his price. He and his crew were very professional, hard working, neat and tidy and seemed to take great pride in the work they did. The job couldn’t have went better! We hope to use Robert and his crew on our new house as well!

Complete Yard Makeover
Artistic Landscapes did such a wonderful job redoing my backyard and patio I had them continue around the house redoing both sides and the front yard. A complete irrigation system was installed, rock walls, a variety of new plants, a paver driveway and a beautiful curved paver walkway to the front door. This complete makeover has received many, many compliments. Robert and his crew are very reliable, hard workers, and I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND Artistic Landscapes to anyone.

Great design and implementation!
Robert redesigned our backyard for us and did a fantastic job, incorporating my suggestions but also offering his own, particularly on recommending the right plants and irrigation system. He is extremely professional, always calls if he will be late and is reliable and easy to work with. I have given him other small projects and no doubt will continue to do so. He now does maintenance and I appreciate his attention to detail. I highly recommend his services.

Fantastic Work!
I want everyone to know what a fantastic job Bob and his crew did for us! He overhauled our entire yard, which is very large!! New trees, beautiful flowers and shrubs, ect!! Bob is wonderful to work with, always available, he actually listens and understands what it is you’re looking to achieve!! Again, my husband and I are absolutely thrilled with our new yard!!!!!!!

Artistic Landscapes Transformed Our Yard!
We contacted Robert with Artistic Landscapes after watching a neighbor’s yard transform overnight, and getting a superb recommendation from them. Robert and his crew lived up to this reputation of great comments already posted on this website. They did an amazing amount of clean-up for our triple sized city lot that had not been well-tended for the last eight years, including carting away five truckloads of yard debris and junk, and going the extra mile to transplant trees and shrubs that had never had a home in their prior location, delivered excess garden pots to our local nursery, and planting of numerous bulbs in the process. They went way above and beyond the call to mulch the entire yard according to our scheduling needs at the expense of their usual day off! We are very finicky about pruning, and Robert was very sensitive to our wishes. Our Japanese Maples look beautiful, particularly helpful were the morning walk throughs of the day’s projects. We are so impressed with his work that we hired him to do our weekly maintenance!

Great to Work With, Great Value
I hardly ever write these kinds of reviews online, but I was so pleased with the work of Bob Kinsey that I felt compelled to let others know what a find he is. From the beginning, Bob was very responsive to my calls. He also provides excellent guidance and options to his customers. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted for a hedge at first, and Bob did his best to try to understand what I roughly envisioned. He made great recommendations that would not only work well in the space but also suit my style. Bob and Carlos worked fast and diligently. I only wished I would have had more treats on hand to reward them for a job that exceeded my expectations. I am so glad to have found someone trustworthy and hardworking that I will call on in the future for all my landscaping needs.

Flagstone Patio Install
Project consisted of demolishing an old, untreated pine deck and installing a raised-bed flagstone patio. The old deck was taken down and hauled in less than three days, and the area was cleaned down to the dirt. He consulted with us on the proposed new patio layout, materials, and overall design approach. He prepared a detailed estimate, and included design features (like drainage) I hadn’t thought of. He also proposed alternate materials, designs, and made sure we knew what he would be doing. Visible progress on the project every day, and at the end of each day the area was cleared and tools stored. Total project took just under three weeks, and right on budget. No surprises during work. And we are totally, 100% satisfied, in fact, delighted with the result. My absolute highest recommendation – the best I have ever dealt with!

Artistic Landscapes
I hired Bob to do an extensive landscaping job on my home. He installed a 10 zone automatic irrigation system that worked perfectly, planted many plants and trees including japanese maples, all which are thriving, but best of all he built 4 free form rock walls, using no mortar, just picking stones that went together like leggos. I had many great comments on these walls, I highly reccomend his work, and his prices are below competetive an important thing in these trying times….
